JAKARTA (ISL News) - Today, October 1, 2026, marks a significant milestone for PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero). In addition to being commemorated as Pancasila Sanctity Day, the date also marks Pelindo's five-year journey post-merger in building an increasingly integrated port ecosystem.
Pelindo commemorated the occasion with a flag-raising ceremony in the courtyard of Pelindo Regional 2 Office on Thursday (October 1). This event was part of a series of events held throughout the company's 5th anniversary celebrations.
The commemoration of Pancasila Sanctity Day serves as a momentum to reaffirm the values of unity, mutual cooperation, and togetherness, which have been the foundation of Pelindo's journey as the merged company. Five years since the merger are not merely a milestone, but a crucial phase in ensuring that the integration of the four port entities delivers tangible impact through synchronization, synergy, and efficiency.
President Director of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), Achmad Muchtasyar, said the five years after the merger were a momentum for Pelindo to continue transforming and streamlining.
"The five years since the merger provide momentum for Pelindo to continue its transformation and streamlining. A merger isn't just about combining companies; it must create synergy, synergy, and efficiency that benefits the company, the country, and all of us," said Achmad.
This spirit of transformation, he continued, is part of Pelindo's efforts to continuously strengthen its role as a national connectivity hub while supporting the smooth flow of logistics and economic activity in Indonesia.
