LOMBOK (ISL News) - PT Pelindo Marine Service (Pelindo Marine) is strengthening the readiness of maritime services at Lembar Port, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), ahead of the 2026 Mandalika MotoGP on October 9-11, 2026. This readiness is carried out to support shipping safety and the mobility of passengers, tourists, vehicles, and logistics entering and leaving Lombok Island during the period of the international motorcycle racing event.
Pelindo Marine's support is demonstrated through the readiness of the Bima 315 tugboat, with two 1,500 hp engines, and the Drupadi 009 pilot boat at Lembar Port. Both vessels are prepared to support towing and pilotage activities, while ensuring safe and reliable maritime services amid increased mobility during the Mandalika MotoGP.
The Commercial, Operations, and Engineering Director of PT Pelindo Marine Service, Elvin Syah Putra , emphasized that maritime service readiness is an important part in supporting smooth connectivity to Lombok Island during the MotoGP Mandalika event. "We ensure the readiness of the fleet and personnel to support the smooth pilotage and movement of ships at Lembar Port. By alerting the Tugboat Bima 315 and the Pilot Boat Drupadi 009, we want to ensure the safety and reliability of maritime services are maintained, especially amidst the increased mobility of passengers, tourists, vehicles, and logistics during the MotoGP Mandalika event," said Elvin.
In addition, Pelindo Marine also supports the smooth arrival of ships carrying a group of Patrol Escort (Patwal) vehicles from the East Java Regional Police through Lembar Port on October 7, 2026. The vehicles will then be used to support security and escort mobility during the 2026 Mandalika MotoGP series. The Director of Traffic for the NTB Regional Police, Senior Commissioner of Police. Iman Pribadi Santoso, SIK, M.Si. , said that the additional Patwal vehicles will strengthen the security and escort of logistics mobility during the 2026 Mandalika MotoGP.

According to Iman, coordination between the NTB Regional Police, the NTB Provincial Transportation Agency, and various related agencies continues to be strengthened to ensure smooth traffic flow during the event. Security is focused not only on the circuit but also on public transportation routes and logistics distribution to various locations related to the MotoGP event.
The readiness of maritime services at Lembar Port is part of the transportation ecosystem support in welcoming the 2026 Mandalika MotoGP.
