SURABAYA INDONESIA (ISL News) - PT Terminal Teluk Lamong (TTL) again recorded brilliant performance at the beginning of 2026. Until April 2026, TTL's container flow reached 939,703 TEUs or grew 12.3% compared to the same period the previous year of 836,586 TEUs.
The most prominent achievement occurred in the international container flow which jumped significantly by 91.25%, from 96,962 TEUs in 2025 to 185,438 TEUs in 2026. This aggressive growth is one of the highest achievements in recent years and further emphasizes TTL's position as one of the fastest-growing container terminals in Indonesia.
The increase in international traffic was driven by the addition of a new international shipping service, the CSE Service, which is part of the COSCO Shipping Group shipping network, including OOCL. This additional service reflects the growing global confidence of shipping lines in the operational competitiveness, productivity, and reliability of PT Terminal Teluk Lamong's services.
Amidst global economic uncertainty and pressure on international supply chains due to global geopolitical dynamics, including the US-Iran conflict which has contributed to rising global industrial energy and fuel prices, PT Terminal Teluk Lamong has been able to maintain operational stability and sustain positive growth momentum.
This success is inseparable from the operational transformation that the company has consistently implemented through port equipment electrification programs, energy consumption optimization, service digitalization, and strengthening the terminal's operational planning system to be more modern and integrated.
President Director of PT Terminal Teluk Lamong, David P. Sirait, said that the company will continue to strengthen business transformation and service quality to meet the challenges of the increasingly dynamic global logistics and shipping industry.
"This growth not only indicates an increase in container flow, but also reflects growing market confidence in PT Terminal Teluk Lamong's service quality, operational efficiency, and readiness to sustainably support national and international logistics chains. Amidst the uncertain global situation, we see this momentum as an opportunity to further strengthen TTL's position as a modern, international-standard terminal in Indonesia," said David P. Sirait.
The company further stated that it will continue to prioritize ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles, the development of superior human resources, and service innovation as the main foundations in maintaining business sustainability and strengthening the company's contribution to national economic growth.
