SURABAYA (ISL News, March 13, 2026) - PT Terminal Teluk Lamong distributed 7,089 aid packages for the Pelindo Berbagi Ramadhan 1447 H/2026 M program, consisting of 5,605 free basic food packages, 134 assistance packages for orphans, and 1,350 Ramadan takjil packages distributed to the general public.
This assistance program is part of the Company's social and environmental responsibility (TJSL) activities which aim to strengthen harmonious relations between the company and the surrounding community and provide sustainable positive impacts.
In this activity, thousands of free basic food packages were distributed to the community around the Company's ring 1 area, stevedoring workers (TKBM) at TPK Nilam, TPK Berlian and TPK Mirah, office boys (OB), cleaning services and gardeners who have contributed so far.
PT TTL Corporate Secretary, Syaiful Anam, said that the Pelindo Berbagi Ramadhan program is a routine activity carried out every year as part of the company's efforts to provide direct benefits to the community.
"We hope this activity will bring joy and help alleviate the community's needs during Ramadan. TTL's existence is inseparable from the support of the surrounding community, so the company is committed to continuing to offer various social programs that impact the surrounding environment," he said.
The aid distribution proceeded smoothly and received a warm welcome from the community. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the attention and care provided by TTL, especially during Ramadan, a time of shared values and social concern.
Anam further added, "The month of Ramadan is a blessed opportunity to strengthen the values of caring and togetherness. Through the Pelindo Berbagi Ramadhan program, we hope the assistance provided will provide tangible benefits to the community and the workforce, who are a vital part of port activities."
On the same occasion, Benowo Sub-district Head Yuri Widarko expressed his appreciation for the company's commitment to the community within its first ring area. We hope that activities like this can continue and provide broader benefits to the residents," said Yuri Widarko.
