MAKASSAR (ISL News, February 26, 2026) – PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim (SPJM) Group, a subholding of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) which operates in the fields of Marine, Equipment, Port Services, Dredging and Shipyard (MEPS) has again received an award from the Directorate General of Taxes for the South, West and Southeast Sulawesi Region (DJP Daerah Sulselbatra) for the company's 2025 Tax achievements.
Previously, SPJM had won the same award for 3 (three) consecutive years in 2022, 2023, and 2024 for two categories, namely: "Taxpayers who have contributed to paying Income Tax and VAT at the DJP Regional Office of South, West, and Southeast Sulawesi for the 2022 Tax Year", "Taxpayers who have contributed to achieving 100% tax revenue in 2023" and "Taxpayers with Good Contributors at the DJP Regional Office of South, West, and Southeast Sulawesi for the 2023 Tax Year" and for 2024 as "Taxpayers who are assessed as contributing well to the receipt and compliance with tax obligations".
For its 2025 tax compliance, SPJM has again received an award as "Taxpayer Deemed to Have Contributed Well to Tax Revenue and Compliance in 2025." This award recognizes taxpayers who not only pay taxes but also comply with reporting and payment requirements in accordance with statutory regulations.
This award was presented directly to Choirul Anwar as Director of Finance and Risk Management of SPJM by the Head of the North Makassar Pratama Tax Service Office (KPP), Budi Harjanto on February 25, 2026.
"Taxes are a manifestation of a company's responsibility to the state, and their role extends beyond simply contributing to budget revenue. Tax funds are a crucial foundation for financing various development agendas and efforts to improve the quality of life for the community. Therefore, we are committed to complying with our tax obligations in the hope of supporting the smooth progress of infrastructure development, improving the quality of healthcare and education services, and developing various other strategic sectors for the common good," said Choirul Anwar.
This award, received for four consecutive years, reflects SPJM's commitment to implementing Good Corporate Governance.
