JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) - Tanjung Priok Port has once again become a gateway for national strategic food supplies. Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung, along with officials from the Jakarta Provincial Government, directly inspected the arrival of imported cattle from Australia at Pier 101 of Tanjung Priok Port on February 23, 2026.
Also present was Executive General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok, Yandri Trisaputra, who ensured that the port's operational readiness was running safely, smoothly, and in accordance with service and safety standards.
The inspection included inspecting the health of the cattle on board the ship and a symbolic procession of sending them off to the distribution truck and heading to the Perumda Dharma Jaya feedlot.
This collaboration demonstrates a shared commitment to maintaining smooth logistics flows and ensuring the availability and stability of meat prices ahead of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
