PALEMBANG (ISL News) - A commitment to transparency and good corporate governance has once again paid off. Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang has received awards at the 2025 South Sumatra Province Public Information Disclosure Award and the 2026 Public Information Disclosure E-Monev Launching event organized by the South Sumatra Provincial Information Commission.
The South Sumatra Provincial Information Commission has conducted Electronic Monitoring and Evaluation (E-Monev) of Public Information Disclosure in 2025 for 318 public bodies across South Sumatra. Of the hundreds of participants, only 49 public bodies succeeded in achieving the "Informative" predicate, and one of them is Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang and became the best Public Body in the State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) category in South Sumatra Province. This determination is stated in the Decree of the South Sumatra Provincial Information Commission Number: 004/MONEV/KEP/KI.PROV.SUMSEL/XII/2025.
The award was presented directly by the Deputy Governor of South Sumatra Province, H Cik Ujang, SH in the official ceremony for public information disclosure in South Sumatra Province, as a form of appreciation to public bodies that are considered consistent in implementing the principles of transparency, accountability, and responsive information services to the public.
This recognition demonstrates Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang's commitment to implementing professional, transparent, and integrated corporate governance. By optimizing the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID), Pelindo continues to ensure easy access to public information, quickly, accurately, and in accordance with applicable regulations.
General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang, Nunu Husnul Khitam, in his statement said that this award is not just an administrative achievement, but part of an ongoing effort to build public trust and carry out the mandate of Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure.
