SINGKAWANG (ISL News, February 9, 2026) - PT IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) Pontianak Area held a strategic agenda of Berthing Window Contract Evaluation for 2025 as well as Berthing Window Contract Determination for 2026 as a concrete step in strengthening service synergy between terminal operators and all stakeholders at Pontianak Port.
This event served as a collaborative forum to ensure alignment of operational planning, improve service quality, and ensure vessel docking schedules for service users. The event was attended by key authorities and stakeholders, including the Pontianak Port Authority (KSOP), Pontianak Regional Management 2, and representatives of shipping companies operating in the Pontianak region.
The 2025 Berthing Window contract evaluation demonstrates IPC TPK's commitment to providing increasingly measurable, efficient, and responsive terminal services to customer needs. Through this evaluation, all parties jointly identified areas for improvement, aligned service expectations, and formulated steps to strengthen coordination for the following year.
The 2026 Berthing Window Contract is crucial for ensuring certainty of berthing services, optimizing operational time allocation, and supporting smooth logistics flows at Pontianak Port. This scheme is expected to further enhance terminal service reliability and strengthen long-term collaboration between IPC TPK and shipping partners.
"Through this evaluation and determination of the Berthing Window , we want to ensure that the entire berthing process at Pontianak Port is more planned, efficient, and aligned with the needs of service users. Strong synergy with all stakeholders is key to continuously improving the quality of terminal services," said Loutfie Hidayat, Area Manager of IPC TPK Pontianak.
Carrying the spirit of “Advancing Port Excellence”, IPC TPK Pontianak Area emphasized that the success of terminal services is not only determined by the readiness of facilities, but also by the strong collaboration and joint commitment of all stakeholders in maintaining the smooth operation of the port.
Through the evaluation of the 2025 Berthing Window contract and the award of the 2026 contract, IPC TPK Pontianak Area is optimistic about maintaining smooth service and strengthening operational coordination with all shipping partners. This increasingly solid synergy is a crucial foundation for the company to support the achievement of the 2026 throughput target of 283,045 TEUs, in line with IPC TPK's commitment to providing increasingly reliable and standardized terminal services.
As a commitment to sustainable operations, this agenda was combined with a Safety Forum and the signing of a Joint Commitment to Occupational Safety and Health (K3). This step demonstrates the collaboration between Pontianak Region 2 and all partners in strengthening the implementation of a Zero Accident culture within the Port of Pontianak.
Through this activity, IPC TPK Pontianak Area is optimistic that it can continue to provide increasingly professional, measurable, and customer satisfaction-oriented terminal services, while strengthening the role of Pontianak Port as a strategic logistics hub in the West Kalimantan region.
