BANJARMASIN (ISL News) - Starting the fourth quarter of 2025, PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX:IPCC) has again gained new trust by expanding the scope of its business services. IPCC not only handles vehicle loading and unloading but is now trusted to manage passenger services entering and leaving Trisakti Port, Banjarmasin using RoRo ships.
As part of maintaining the trust placed in them, IPCC management conducted a Management Walkthrough at the Banjarmasin Satellite Terminal on Wednesday, October 23, 2025. The event was attended by the Director of Finance, Human Resources, and Risk Management, Wing Megantoro, to review field conditions and identify various aspects that need to be improved at the passenger terminal to ensure optimal service for service users.
"The Company's efforts to expand its business reach are reflected in the addition of business services, particularly passenger terminal management. Previously, RoRo passenger services at Banjarmasin Port were handled by Regional 3 Banjarmasin, in line with the company's commitment to continuously strengthening the integration of national maritime logistics services," said Wing Megantoro.
"Before being transferred to IPCC management, Regional 3 Banjarmasin recorded approximately 286,000 passengers in 2024, successfully serving both inbound and outbound passengers through the Banjarmasin passenger terminal. With this experience, we are optimistic that IPCC can improve the quality of service and terminal capacity going forward," said Kusno Utomo, IPCC Senior Manager of Operations.
Until now, the Banjarmasin Satellite Terminal IPCC has handled the consolidated loading and unloading of 74,434 units of vehicles since being managed by IPCC, with the largest contribution coming from CBU 36,361 units, trucks/buses 27,661, heavy equipment 4105 and motorcycles 6307 units.
"To realize the Company's vision as a leader in the vehicle terminal logistics ecosystem, IPCC is also committed to continuously improving world-class service, safety, and operational efficiency standards so that it can provide added value for service users and the national economy," Wing concluded.
Through this service expansion, IPCC hopes to increase added value for service users and strengthen the company's position as an integrated vehicle and passenger terminal service provider under the auspices of the Pelindo Group.
