JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) -
PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX:IPCC) has again recorded brilliant operational performance. When compared to the period of January last year, throughout January 2025 IPCC managed to carry out loading and unloading of cargo (CBU, buses/trucks and heavy equipment) handled up to 8.7% or 6,504 units more or 81,273 units.

In addition to cargo performance, the number of ship calls to docks managed by IPCC increased by 11.6% or 28 visits YoY or a total of 268 Calls in January 2025. The better achievement than last year was influenced by the absence of safety issues on certain brands like early last year plus the presence of various new automotive brands from the bamboo curtain country and an increase in the number of exports of a number of brands that have production line bases in Indonesia.

Consolidated handling of truck/bus cargo during January 2025 amounted to 17,620 units, growing slightly by 17.3% YoY. From this picture, it can be seen that at the beginning of the year there was indeed a wait and see action from business people in this sector, but domestic mining activities continued and increased in line with the completion of several national strategic projects in the energy sector such as in Gresik and Morowali.

The Company successfully recorded positive performance in handling CBU cargo during January 2025 amounting to 64,236 units, an increase of 6,598 units or 11% YoY. The performance of Heavy Equipment cargo grew by 513 units or an increase of 24.31% YoY, where during January 2025 it managed to handle 2,624 units. The increase in Heavy Equipment cargo occurred for both export and import cargo which was dominated by 5 well-known brands, Hitachi, Caterpillar, Sumitomo, Hyundai and Komatsu.

"In an effort to maintain the Company's performance in 2024, transformation and standardization continue to be carried out sustainably with the principle of continuous improvement to meet the expectations of our service users, such as improvements to business processes, increasing the capacity of the stacking yard and operational support facilities as well as plans to optimize the dock owned by the IPCC Jakarta Branch to increase the frequency of international ship visits," said Bagus Dwipoyono, Director of Operations and Engineering at IPCC.

"Looking at the Company's operational performance in January 2025, we are optimistic that this year will be passed brilliantly as last year's achievements were based on the Company's strong fundamentals and continuing strategic initiatives from last year as well as the implementation of PTOS-C at international terminals and several satellite terminals that will strengthen operational performance," concluded Endah Dwi Liesly, Senior Manager of IPCC Corporate Secretary.
