
PALEMBANG (ISL News) - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Palembang in collaboration with the Manpower & Transmigration Office of South Sumatra Province and the Harbormaster & Port Authority Office Class I Palembang held an OHS Forum in the Work Environment of Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang in the Framework of the 2025 National OHS Month which aims to increase awareness and commitment in creating a healthy, safe, and productive work environment for all workers and stakeholders in the port sector.
The forum took place in the Musi Meeting Room, Suluh Building, Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang, which was attended by Port Stakeholders and Children & Grandchildren of Pelindo Group Regional 2 Palembang.
Business Compliance Manager, Iwan Sanjaya in his speech said "Currently, of course, as one of the series of commemorations of the 2025 National K3 month, this K3 Forum is being held with the hope that we can refresh our knowledge related to K3, of course, in accordance with the direction of the leadership, the presence of Excellent K3 elements is expected in each Branch so that it can reduce accidents in the work environment, especially at the Boom Baru Port."
Also present at the Forum were the Palembang Class I Navigation District, Palembang Navy Base, Palembang Class I Health Quarantine Center, Palembang TMP B Customs and Excise Office, Palembang Boom Baru Port KSK, Palembang Police Water Police, Palembang Port Hospital, Palembang INSA DPC, Head of ALFI/ILFA South Sumatra DPW, Head of APBMI South Sumatra DPW, PT Indokarya Internusa and PT Asphalt Bangun Sarana.
With the implementation of this activity, it is expected to provide real contributions in creating a safe and healthy work culture. This forum is also expected to be a forum for stakeholders to exchange information and experiences in implementing K3 policies, so that it can support the improvement of the quality of occupational safety in a sustainable manner in the port sector.
