
MAKASSAR INDONESIA (ISL News) - PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim or SPJM initiated a Technical Guidance (Bimtek) activity for Environmental Approval Management. This activity took place on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Pelindo Tower, North Jakarta.
This Bimtek was attended by participants from PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) and several subsidiaries of the SPJM Group, namely PT Pengerukan Indonesia (Rukindo), PT Jasa Peralatan Pelabuhan Indonesia (JPPI), and PT Jasa Armada Indonesia, Tbk (JAI Tbk).
Without any hesitation, as an expert resource person, SPJM invited the Environmental Impact Prevention Team for Business & Activities (PDLUK) of the Ministry of Environment. "This activity is a form of SPJM's commitment to sustainability and environmental protection. This activity was carried out after the issuance of the Job Creation Law, where there were changes to the stages of managing Environmental Approval which of course need to be understood well to optimize implementation and compliance in the SPJM Group environment, said Tubagus Patrick, SPJM Corporate Secretary.
Also present at the opening of the event was Moh Subiyan, as SVP K3L & SPJM Quality Management System, who stated that this Technical Guidance was also a discussion space to understand the changes and stages of documents required in managing environmental approvals, especially those related to the SPJM business including Marine, Equipment , and Port Services (MEPS) streams.
This Bimtek activity is packaged in the form of a discussion with resource persons to discuss strategic issues related to the management of environmental approvals and action plans that must be carried out by SPJM Group entities. With this activity, SPJM shows its commitment to support environmental management to be implemented while still adhering to the principles of good corporate governance ( GCG ) and applicable laws and regulations.
