JAKARTA INDONESIA (ISL News) – PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok or PTP Nonpetikemas in its commitment to eradicating corruption by conducting various Anti-Corruption campaigns and socializations as well as the implementation of Good Governance in the Company. On Monday, December 2, 2024, PTP Non Petikemas held a socialization of World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) 2024 with the theme "Strengthening the Commitment to Eradicating Corruption for Advanced Indonesia". This activity reflects the spirit of PTP Nonpetikemas in building an anti-corruption culture.
The President Commissioner of PTP Nonpetikemas, Prakosa Hadi Takariyanto, opened the event and appealed to PTP personnel to work together to create a transparent work environment. Report any actions that violate the rules, including accepting gratuities and actively contribute to efforts to eradicate corruption.
The President Director of PTP Nonpetikemas, Indra Hidayat Sani, in his remarks said that integrity is important in the company's operations. "We are committed to continuing to maintain transparency and accountability. Hakordia 2024 is an opportunity for us to strengthen our steps in supporting the KPK and government's efforts to fight corruption. Hakordia, which falls on December 9, is an important momentum as a form of global commitment to fighting corruption. In this commemoration, it was attended by the management and PTP personnel, both Commissioners, Directors and all employees. This activity also involved speakers from the KPK, filled by the KPK's Anti-Corruption Analyst for Business Entities, Jeji Azizi. The speaker from the KPK, Jeji Azizi, said that the Corruption Prevention Guidelines for the Business World (PANCEK) is an instrument specifically designed to assist companies in fulfilling legal obligations related to preventing corruption. Especially after the enactment of Supreme Court Regulation Number 13 of 2016 and Law Number 1 of 2023.
This guide presents a series of practical guidelines and checklists that can be used by companies to assess the adequacy of the corruption prevention system that has been implemented, as well as provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Law Number 31 of 1999 in conjunction with Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption formulates 30 types of criminal acts of corruption which can be categorized into seven large groups, namely including state financial losses, embezzlement in office, fraudulent acts, extortion, gratification, conflicts of interest in procurement, and bribery.
