JAKARTA (ISL News) - PT Indonesian Classification Bureau (Persero) as the Lead Holding of the BUMN Survey Services "IDSurvey" attended the 2024 Arus Mudik Lebaran review agenda at the Merak crossing port on Sunday, April 7 2024.
This agenda was attended directly by the Main Director of PT BKI (Persero), Arisudono Soerono and the Director of Operations of PT BKI (Persero), R. Benny Susanto.
The agenda starts at 11.30. Starting with a limited meeting by the Minister of Transportation, the Minister of Human Development and Culture, and other stakeholders in a limited meeting held in the Soroso meeting room where they discussed the congestion that had occurred which was disrupting crossing activities, then with the results of the meeting held earlier, options for reducing the congestion were agreed. by carrying out a loading system only for ships carrying Mudik Lebaran travelers at the port of Merak.
This process is useful in shortening the time for the crossing process for travelers. Mudik Lebaran travelers from Mangrove port will be diverted/unloaded to Ciwandan port. This proposal has been approved by stakeholders.
Next, the stakeholders conducted a visit to the Ciwandan port to ensure readiness to implement the results of the decisions that had been approved.
