JAKARTA (ISL News) - Armed with the spirit of realizing Operational Excellence, IPC Container Terminal (IPC TPK) continues to strengthen its position as a global benchmark (comparative study) destination by welcoming a visit from students from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) on Wednesday (23/9/2026).
This visit is a key component of the MBA ( International Business ) program curriculum . Through this activity, IPC TPK facilitates knowledge sharing regarding the operation of advanced technology-based container terminals that are fully integrated with the overall maritime ecosystem.
"We welcome the presence of MBA students from IIFT and appreciate the trust in making IPC TPK a reference for port operations studies," said Daniel Setiawan, Senior Manager of the IPC TPK Corporate Secretariat. Daniel added that this activity is in line with Danantara's direction to encourage strengthening international cooperation, IPC TPK is committed to providing hands-on knowledge regarding various operational procedures and documentation at our terminal which has massively implemented a digital port system .
As part of the academic requirements, students are required to understand the comprehensive perspective of port operations. To meet this requirement, IPC TPK presented the implementation of cutting-edge operational technology that digitally integrates various service systems. The company's ongoing development of digital port implementation not only focuses on improving service efficiency but ultimately leads to strengthening support for Indonesia's logistics and port ecosystem, making it more resilient and competitive in the global market.
This integrated logistics ecosystem learning aligns perfectly with the International Business discipline the student delegates are pursuing. By analyzing maritime supply chains directly in the field, the students can see how technological efficiency at ports is the backbone of international trade.
