JAKARTA (ISL News) – On this afternoon, Monday, August 10, 2026, at the Central Secretariat of the United Port Retired Association (P3B-OPPI), on Jl. Cempaka Putih Timur VII, Central Jakarta, the Central Executive Board officially declared its resignation (disbandment).
This was conveyed by Dr. Riman S. Duyo, SH, MH as Chair of PB3-OPPI, accompanied by Wagimin, SE, MBA., as Secretary General, at a Press Conference. "Today, Monday, August 10, 2026, we officially convey some information regarding P3B-OPPI, on the basis of important commitments that need to be realized. That , as is known, P3B-OPPI is an organization/association of retired employees of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), which was established by Notarial Deed Hambit Maseh, SH, Number 454 Dated July 6, 2022 and ratified according to the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights No. AHU 0007495 THN 2022, Dated August 1, 2022," explained Riman S. Duyo.
It is said that in its development, there is also an organization/association of Pelindo retirees with the name of the Indonesian Port Retired Workers Association (P3I), where the purpose and objectives of its establishment are more or less the same as the purpose and objectives of the establishment of P3B-OPPI.
"For the benefit of retired/retired Pelindo members and also the effectiveness of communication between the main stakeholders, namely the Board of Directors of PT Pelindo (Persero) in realizing the aims and objectives of P3B-OPPI and P3I, then on September 22-23, 2025 at the National Conference and Joint Declaration in Jakarta, P3B-OPPI and P3I agreed to unite and form a pensioner association as a single forum for retired/retired Pelindo members. In the National Conference and Joint Declaration Agreement, if the new association has been formed, then P3B-OPPI and P3I will each dissolve themselves as Legal Entities of the Association, so that the facilitation of friendship and efforts to improve the welfare of retired/retired Pelindo members will be carried out by the new Legal Entity of the Association," he explained.
P3IS Formed, P3B-OPPI Disbanded
That on November 17, 2025, the Indonesian Prosperous Port Pensioners Association, abbreviated as P3IS, was established, with Deed of Establishment Number 13, dated November 17, 2025, made by Notary in Jakarta, Mr. Arief Yulianto, SH, M.Kn, and ratified by the Minister of Law, in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Law: AHU-0008976.AH.01.07 of 2025, dated December 5, 2025.
"Therefore, with the formation and ratification of the P3IS Association Legal Entity, in accordance with the Joint Declaration Commitment dated September 23, 2025, P3B-OPPI is carrying out the process of DISSOLUTION of the P3B-OPPI association. For the dissolution in question, the Decree of the Minister of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number AHU-15.AH.01.13.Tahun 2026, dated July 21, 2026 concerning the Termination of the Legal Entity Status of the United Port Retired Association," said Riman S. Duyo.
It was further conveyed that with the issuance of the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights, P3B-OPPI which was established based on the Notarial Deed of Hambit Maseh, SH, No. 454 dated July 6, 2022 with the ratification of the Minister of Law and Human Rights No. AHU 0007495 THN 2022, dated August 1, 2022, LEGALLY NO LONGER HAS LEGAL ENTITY STATUS (dissolved), so that the Deed of Establishment can no longer be used as a basis for association actions.
"P3B-OPPI has realized the Joint Declaration Commitment of P3B-OPPI and P3I which was declared on September 23, 2025 in Jakarta. Thus, in the future, regarding the facilitator of friendship and the implementation of programs to improve the welfare of retired/retirees of PT Pelindo (Persero), it will be carried out by the Management of the P3IS Association," added Riman S. Duyo.
Regional Conference
During the press conference, Ahmad Jafar, as the General Chair of P3IS, said that through the Regional Conference, the management has now been formed starting from regional 1, 2, 3 and regional 4.
"The P3IS Regional 1 Belawan Medan Management is led by Mr. M. Djunaedi, P3IS Regional 2 is led by Mr. Sholikin, P3IS Regional 3 is led by Mr. Mukhlis, and P3IS Regional 4 is led by Mr. Armen," said Ahmad Jafar.
Ahmad Jafar said that branch-level leadership will soon be established across all Pelindo's operational areas. "Various activities related to the P3IS work program will also be implemented soon," he added.
Husen Lathief, as the P3IS Advisory Board, added that with the formation of the P3IS Regional level management, 11,000 Pelindo retirees from Sabang to Merauke are under the protection of P3IS.
"Going forward, all activities (Work Programs) and various aspirations of P3IS Members will continue to be coordinated with PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) as the P3IS Supervisor," added Husen Lathief.
