SURABAYA (ISL News) – PT Terminal Teluk Lamong (TTL) has again recorded positive performance by recording the highest container throughput record until July 2026. On a consolidated basis, container flow at the three terminals managed by TTL reached 1,753,203 TEUs, growing 13.3% compared to the same period the previous year of 1,547,561 TEUs.
This achievement represents the highest performance ever achieved under the integrated management of TPK Teluk Lamong, TPK Nilam, and TPK Berlian. Growth was driven by increased international and domestic container flows, additional shipping services, network optimization, and increased loading and unloading productivity at the three terminals.
The Teluk Lamong Port (TPK) recorded the highest growth of 23.6%, with a throughput of 644,432 TEUs, compared to 521,451 TEUs in the same period last year. This growth was primarily driven by increased international container traffic and the introduction of two new services, further strengthening TPK Teluk Lamong's connectivity with the global shipping network.
The first service is the CSE Service through a joint slot scheme between COSCO and OOCL with an average payload of approximately 1,200 TEUs per call. The second service is the SCJX/SIX Service through a joint slot between GSL and XPF with an average payload of approximately 1,100 TEUs per call. International performance is also strengthened by 22 international ad hoc calls until July 2026, providing an additional volume of 14,020 TEUs.
Meanwhile, TPK Nilam recorded a throughput of 321,604 TEUs, a 19.6% increase compared to 268,852 TEUs in the same period last year. The growth was primarily driven by increased domestic container activity, including services from Meratus to Kendari and Tanto to Ambon. This achievement further strengthens TPK Nilam's role in supporting logistics distribution from Surabaya to Eastern Indonesia.
TPK Berlian also demonstrated positive performance, recording a throughput of 787,167 TEUs, an increase of approximately 4% compared to the same period the previous year of 757,258 TEUs. This performance improvement was supported by the optimization of berthing window implementation and the readiness of loading and unloading equipment, consisting of 15–16 Harbor Mobile Cranes (HMC) and 1 Container Crane (CC). This optimization supports the acceleration of loading and unloading completion while increasing terminal operational efficiency.
PT Terminal Teluk Lamong President Director David Pandapotan Sirait said that this achievement demonstrates the effectiveness of the integrated three-terminal management strategy in increasing productivity while strengthening logistics connectivity.

Going forward, PT Terminal Teluk Lamong will continue to improve operational productivity, strengthen shipping connectivity, and optimize the capacity and utilization of its three terminals. The synergy between TPK Teluk Lamong, TPK Nilam, and TPK Berlian is expected to further strengthen Surabaya's role as one of Indonesia's strategic logistics hubs and nodes, particularly in supporting domestic and international trade connectivity.
With these achievements, TTL is optimistic that it can maintain its growth momentum until the end of 2026 while making a greater contribution to the efficiency of the national logistics chain and increasing Indonesia's trade competitiveness.
