BANDAR LAMPUNG (ISL News) -
2025 will be a bright year for IPC TPK Panjang, one of the strategic container terminals in Southern Sumatra. With increased container traffic, the development of new services, and the strengthening of connectivity and digitalization, IPC TPK Panjang is increasingly demonstrating its contribution to national logistics efficiency and the growth of exports and imports in the Lampung region.

"IPC TPK Panjang's performance demonstrates our commitment to supporting logistics efficiency and improving Lampung's export competitiveness. As of September 2025, Panjang's container throughput grew 27.69% to 90,655 TEUs compared to 70,914 TEUs in the same period the previous year (September 2024)," said Anang Subagyono, Area Manager of IPC TPK Panjang.

The positive performance of the Panjang Port Terminal (TPK Panjang) throughout 2025 further strengthens Panjang Port's role in supporting major ports like Tanjung Priok in streamlining national logistics flows. By improving loading and unloading efficiency, shipping connectivity, and facilitating export access, this terminal significantly contributes to accelerating the distribution of Lampung's leading commodities, such as coffee, pineapple,  pulp ,  refined glycerin  , and  wood charcoal,  to domestic and international markets. This strategic role not only helps lower logistics costs and accelerate delivery times, but also drives regional economic growth and strengthens the competitiveness of the national supply chain.

The improved performance of the Panjang IPC TPK is in line with the increase in exports and imports in the region. According to data from the Lampung Province Central Statistics Agency, in August 2025, Lampung Province recorded an export value of US$684.46 million, a 16.16% increase from August 2024 (US$589.23 million). Meanwhile, imports in August 2025 were recorded at US$222.35 million, a 130.41% increase from August 2024 (US$96.50 million).

Anang added that Lampung has significant potential for increasing international trade from Southern Sumatra. "We at IPC TPK Panjang are committed to continuing to provide reliable and efficient services, establishing new shipping routes, and collaborating with logistics players to support the growth of exports and imports in this region," Anang concluded.
