MAKASSAR INDONESIA (ISL News) - As a form of optimizing the Employee Health Priority Program, PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim (SPJM) as one of the Subholdings of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) is carrying out routine Medical Check-Up (MCU) health checks for 4 (four) days starting from 16 to 19 December 2024.
SPJM continues to strive to ensure that the quality of services provided continues to improve and is maintained, one of which is by ensuring that all of its human resources are in prime and healthy condition to carry out daily work activities known as the Employee Wellbeing Program (EWP).
"EWP is a routine program for all SPJM employees, both those who carry out administrative and operational functions. One of the programs is the Medical Check-Up (MCU) . This MCU aims to conduct early detection of general health disorders to reduce the risk of complications with fast and appropriate treatment. MCU is also to anticipate work-related health disorders so that they do not develop more seriously," said Corporate Secretary, Tubagus Patrick.
For this MCU activity, SPJM collaborated with Pelindo Husada Citra (PHC) Surabaya. Where PHC Surabaya appointed RS. Otak Jantung Pertamina Royal Biringkanaya Makassar as the MCU implementer and attended by 156 (one hundred and fifty six) employees consisting of 5 operational employees and 151 administrative employees at the Head Office and Region 4 Makassar. The types of MCU examinations this time include: physical examination, eyes, thorax, blood, urine, x-ray , EKG, treadmill, blood sugar, triglycerides, uric acid, SGOT, SGPT, HbaAg, spirometry, audiometry, occupation, cholesterol, HDL, LDL, urea, creatinine, and drug tests.
In addition to this MCU program, SPJM also initiated other routine EWPs including: morning exercise, healthy walking, health talk by inviting expert speakers in the health field, fit to work which is a monthly independent health check, blood donation. Not only physical, programs of tausiyah, pengajian, and worship are also carried out routinely.
The Employee Wellbeing Program (EWP) is proof that SPJM prioritizes the physical and mental health of employees at work, considering that employees are the spearhead of the company's service quality assurance to improve its performance and competitiveness.
