JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News)
  - At the end of 2024, PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX: IPCC) recorded brilliant operational performance. As a subsidiary of Subholding Pelindo Multi Terminal (SPMT), the Company recorded consolidated growth in cargo flow and ship visits of 18.8% and 44%, respectively. This positive achievement cannot be separated from the hard work of all parties, both internally and external stakeholders.

The increase in operational performance is supported by the increase in the handling of truck/bus cargo, which was recorded as having successfully handled 155,595 units until November 2024, growing by 78.7% YoY. This is reflected in the high demand for the national mass transportation sector, one of which is the import of electric buses to meet the needs of an environmentally friendly and zero pollution fleet. The second best achievement was the performance of Heavy Equipment cargo of 4,676 units or an increase of 24.25% nYoY, where until November it had successfully handled 23,960 units.

This achievement is based on several factors such as the addition of the Company's operating area after the Pelindo merger which has added 4 Satellite Terminals, especially the Balikpapan Satellite Terminal which is the busiest due to the development activities of the National Capital City (IKN) and the center of the mining area in Indonesia. No less impressive achievements were also recorded in the handling of CBU cargo until the November 2024 period of 776,380 units, an increase of 48,349 units or 7% YoY, this is quite interesting considering the decline in the national automotive sales trend.

The increase in the number of CBU cargo is also influenced by the enthusiasm of the Indonesian people with the presence of electric cars in welcoming the EV ecosystem. This is a separate achievement for the Company amidst the declining trend in vehicle sales, especially automotive, by 14.7% citing data from GAIKINDO (Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries). Interestingly, the growing EV (electric vehicle) ecosystem in Indonesia with the invasion of various brands and types from world automotive giants such as China, Korea and various European brands, it is recorded that until November 2024, IPCC has handled 21,217 CBU EV units, especially for the BYD, VINFAST and AION brands.

IPCC President Director Sugeng Mulyadi said that we have made various service improvements to meet the expectations of service users, such as transformation and optimization of Planning and Control-based services, Go Live new operating system, namely PTOS-C on several satellite terminals, expansion of the former PP stacking yard by 0.3 Ha, and optimization of existing land with the PDC business pattern.

"To anticipate the surge in cargo flow, especially CBU at the Jakarta Branch, we are upgrading the field side such as hardening and remarking the Block O and B fields, adding CCTV and revitalizing the safety net of the Red and White Building, continued Bagus Dwipoyono, Director of Operations and Engineering at IPCC," said Sugeng Mulyadi.

2025 Plan

In an effort to maintain the Company's performance in 2025, Management has set the Company's plans, including implementing the PTOS-C operating system at the Jakarta Branch International Terminal, operating the Ex-PP stacking yard which can accommodate ±300 CBU units, adding international piers to meet the needs of service users by relocating domestic piers to Tanjung Priok Port and expanding the work area in Eastern Indonesia.

"Hopefully what the Company has achieved so far will be a driving force for our work spirit and we can collaborate together with service users to improve performance which will ultimately have an impact on the national economy," concluded Endah Dwi, Senior Manager of Corporate Secretary.
