TEGAL INDONESIA (ISL News) – PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 3 Sub Regional Java Tegal Port Area Branch received an award for the 2024 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award from the Tegal City Government (Pemkot) in the BUMN, BUMD & other government agencies category at the Adipura Building, Tegal City Hall on Thursday (11/21/24). The award was presented directly by drg. Agus Dwi Sulistyantono, MM as the Acting Mayor of Tegal which was received by Tri Sugiyatno, Manager of the Tegal Port Area.
Acting Mayor of Tegal, drg. Agus Dwi Sulistyantono, MM in his speech said that the 2024 CSR Award activity can inspire MSME actors in the Tegal City area to continue to work and continue to contribute positively to the development of Tegal City and the involvement of all parties in every regional development is needed, not only the Government but also the involvement of business actors, academics, and the community.
"This CSR awarding activity is a form of government appreciation to companies that have provided this CSR program that is beneficial to the people of Tegal City. We from Central Java Province appreciate it because not all regencies and cities in Central Java hold events like this because it provides many positive benefits to the people of Tegal, especially those involved in the business world. There are many MSME actors who are categorized as young entrepreneurs where we must always support so that business actors continue to increase the results of their creativity which can support economic growth and a positive image for Tegal City," he said.
BAPPERIDA Tegal City for the third time BAPPERIDA Tegal City again held the "2024 CSR Award" event. Head of the Tegal City Regional Development Planning Research and Innovation Agency (Bapperida), Ir. Resti Drijo Prihanto, M.Si said that the CSR Award is a form of appreciation and recognition given to companies with significant contributions in supporting regional development.
The Tegal City Government has stipulated Tegal City Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2023 to provide legal certainty for the implementation of the TJSLBU program and to increase awareness of business entities and stakeholders so that TJSLBU implementers synergize with sustainable regional development programs, by paying attention to local wisdom and priority scales that are the needs of the community.
The best TJSLBU award in 2024 was given to 17 business entities with 3 categories including the Private Business Entity Category with 7 (seven) business entities won by Harapan Tegal Islamic Hospital, Harapan Bersama Tegal Polytechnic, Pancasakti Global Tegal Polytechnic, PT. BPR Central Artha Tegal, Karlita Hotel Tegal, PT. Sharia People's Financing Bank Harta Insan Karimah (HIK) Bahari Tegal, and PT. Menara Laut Bersatu.
The category of BUMN, BUMD, vertical agencies/institutions as many as 7 (seven) business entities/institutions were won by the Bank Indonesia Tegal Representative Office, Bank Jateng Tegal Coordinator Branch, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 3 Sub-Regional Java Tegal Port, Perumda Tirta Bahari Drinking Water Company of Tegal City, PT. BPR BKK Tegal City (Perseroda), PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), and PT. Pegadaian Persero – Tegal Deputy Area Office.
The UMKM category has 3 (three) businesses won by Bintang Rasa Catering Tegal, PT. Rian Jaya Perkasa (RJP) Tegal, and Setia Kawan Tegal Building Store.
The CSR award which was directly presented by the Acting Mayor of Tegal is a manifestation of the mandate of the TJSLBU Regional Regulation that the mayor can give awards to business entities that implement TJSLBU.
Present at the event were the Head of the Regional Development Planning, Research and Innovation Agency (Bapperinda) of Tegal City, R. Resti Drijo Prihanto, accompanied by the Mayor's Expert Staff, Assistant Regional Secretary, Head of OPD, Sub-district Head, Village Head, and Leaders of BUMN, BUMD, Private Institutions and MSMEs.
In the period of 2024, Pelindo Tegal Port Branch has contributed and distributed 9 CSR programs targeting assistance for community welfare, health, educational facilities and distribution of sacrificial animals. This is a form of the company's Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program which is also a commitment of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) to continue to improve the welfare of the general public in the area around Tegal Port.
Tegal Port Area Manager, Tri Sugiyatno, expressed his hope that the 2024 CSR Award activities could bridge companies or the government with the community in triggering enthusiasm and motivating the business world to continue to contribute to community and regional development, especially the city of Tegal.
PJ. Mayor of Tegal hopes that the awarding of the 2024 CSR Award can inspire and spur the enthusiasm of business actors in developing Tegal City. "Do more for the progress of Tegal City".
