Quwartal III Performance Highlights, SPJM Group is OPTIMISTIC to Increase BUSINESS BARGAINING POWER Marine Services, Equipments, Port Services

MAKASSSAR (ISL News) –
 PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim (SPJM), one of the subholdings of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) recorded revenue growth of 33.38% (YoY), operating expenses increased due to the implementation of several corporate actions that impacted HR costs and depreciation costs for additional assets.


Net profit decreased by 29.07% (YoY). On the other hand, there was asset growth as of September 30, 2024 where the asset value grew by 20.05% (YoY) and reached 125.53% compared to the RKAP for Quarter III of 2024. This growth was achieved by SPJM in line with its efforts to continue to strengthen services through standardization of business processes and services at the port.


Along with the standardization of business processes and digitalization implemented in SPJM Group, the company achieved increased performance in almost all service areas compared to the previous year. For Marine Services, SPJM Group recorded an increase of 77.94% (YoY), and reached 463,672 movements in the Guidance Service. While the Towing Service reached 3.83 Billion GT Hours, with an increase of 5.81% YoY.


In the Equipment service stream, ship docking services also increased by 133.33% (YoY). Port Services also experienced a lot of increases, including in flow management services and energy provision.


SPJM Group's flow management services achieved an increase of 22.08% (YoY) with an achievement of 19,738,961 tons. Energy Services in Fuel Distribution experienced an increase of 30.98% YoY, with an achievement of 43,302 KL and an increase of 7.43% (YoY) in Gas Distribution with an achievement of 9,975,032 MMBTU (millions of British thermal units).


In addition, the provision of clean water experienced an increase of 182.2% YoY, with services reaching 1,845,511 tons. Electricity services reached 152,669,247 KwH, where this achievement experienced an increase of 17.02% YoY
