JAKARTA (ISL News) - PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX: IPCC), as the largest vehicle terminal operator in Indonesia under the auspices of PT Pelindo Multi Terminal, continues to strengthen its operational performance through transformation and service development. This is reflected in the increase in consolidated operational traffic between the Jakarta Branch and five IPCC Satellite Terminals through August 2026.

On a consolidated basis, the IPCC recorded 2,595 ship calls, up from 2,250 in the same period last year, representing a 15.33% year-on-year increase. The increase was also reflected in Completely Built Up (CBU) traffic, which reached 607,196 units, compared to 597,871 units in the same period last year, representing a 1.56% year-on-year increase.

Strengthening performance was also evident in several other service segments. As of August 2026, heavy equipment traffic reached 22,648 units, a 5.76% year-on-year increase compared to 21,415 units in the same period the previous year. Meanwhile, the Truck/Bus segment reached 213,689 units, a 44.29% year-on-year increase from 148,101 units. Significant growth was also recorded in General Cargo, which reached 173,697 packages, a 114.03% year-on-year increase compared to 81,154 packages in the same period the previous year.

This consolidated performance was primarily supported by activity growth at the IPCC Satellite Terminal. Meanwhile, the Jakarta Branch International Terminal continues to face pressure in the import segment. Nevertheless, CBU export activity has shown improvement amidst global trade and geopolitical dynamics. This situation has prompted the Company to continue strengthening its strategy to increase cargo traffic at the Jakarta Branch International Terminal while optimizing the contribution of the Satellite Terminal network.

The strengthening of the IPCC's performance also aligns with the development of the national automotive industry. According to GAIKINDO data, total national CBU production from January to August 2026 reached 859,256 units, a 13.44% year-on-year increase. During the same period, CBU traffic served by the IPCC reached 607,196 units, a 1.56% year-on-year increase.

"Traffic growth across our various operational areas demonstrates the growing importance of integration between the Jakarta Branch and the Satellite Terminal in supporting the national vehicle logistics chain. We will continue to strengthen service quality, operational capabilities, and inter-terminal synergy to more adaptively respond to customer needs and developments in the automotive industry," said Wing Megantoro, President Director of IPCC.

"Going forward, IPCC will continue its operational and business transformation by strengthening resources, improving service quality, digitizing, and optimizing the terminal network. This step is part of our efforts to provide increasingly integrated, efficient, and sustainable vehicle terminal services, in line with IPCC's vision to become a world-class vehicle terminal ecosystem," Wing concluded.
